This site is run by Yuri, a private tour guide based in Kanazawa, Japan (“I”, “me”, “my”). If you have any questions about your privacy, you can reach me any time through the Contact page.

Information I collect

  • When you use the contact / booking form: your name, email address, and anything you choose to write — for example your travel dates, group size, and any requests or needs I should know about.
  • When you book and pay: payment is handled by a secure third-party payment provider (such as PayPal, Wise, or a credit-card processor). I receive confirmation that a payment was made, but I do not see or store your full card number or banking details.
  • Basic technical data: like most websites, my hosting and security provider may automatically log limited data such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site running and safe. I do not use this to identify you personally.

How I use your information

  • To reply to your inquiry and answer your questions.
  • To plan, confirm, and provide your private guiding experience.
  • To arrange payment and, if needed, a refund.
  • To keep a simple record of our booking for tax and accounting purposes.

I will never sell your information, and I will not send you marketing emails that you did not ask for.

Who I share it with

I keep your information private and only share it with the trusted services I need to run my guiding business, or when required by law. These may include:

  • Website hosting and security (my host and Cloudflare), which store and deliver this site.
  • The contact form tool on this site, which sends your message to my email inbox.
  • Google Fonts, used to display the site’s typefaces; loading these fonts means Google may receive your IP address.
  • My payment provider (e.g. PayPal, Wise, or a card processor), which securely handles your payment under its own privacy policy.

If you found me through Viator or Airbnb and book there instead, those platforms handle your information under their own privacy policies, not this one.

Cookies and analytics

This site keeps things simple. It does not use advertising cookies or tracking for marketing. Only essential cookies needed for the site and contact form to work properly may be used. If I add website analytics in the future, I will update this policy first.

How long I keep your information

I keep booking and contact records only as long as needed to provide your tour and to meet legal and accounting obligations, and then I delete them. Casual inquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once our conversation is finished.

Where your information is handled

I am based in Japan, so your information is processed here. Some of the services I use (such as the payment provider or Google) may process data on servers in other countries. By using this site and booking with me, you understand that your information may be handled outside your home country.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you. Just contact me through the Contact page and I will take care of it.

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging travel. Children are warmly welcome on tours, but bookings should be made by a parent or guardian.
